Eye witness accounts state that the fight was between two tables; one supporting the current Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, and another supporting the Traditional Reform Movement.'They were all drinking a fair few,' commented Three Broomsticks proprietor, Rosmerta Ogden, 'and sending up toasts with each round. Well, the Shacklebolt fellows thought they'd toast the anniversary of his election. The others didn't agree with the direction the Ministry's taken, so they toasted the upcoming election when, so they said, Shacklebolt'd surely lose to Palomina Parkinson. It just got ugly after that.'How did the barmaid keep the rest of the feast at their tables, rather than eagerly joining the melee? 'Bar fight's on my menu,' Rosmerta proclaims. 'You order one up and you pay me fifty Galleons.'
